TEAM Marketing AG is a leading international sports marketing agency located in Lucerne, Switzerland. We specialise inthe sale, delivery and development of rights packages for major sports events. To complete our Sales Team, we are looking for a

Sponsorship Sales Manager M/F

The Role:

You will be part of the Sponsorship Team within the Sales Department, reporting to the Director Sponsorship Sales.Working primarily on selling the sponsorship packages for the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League.

The role requires an ability to work across multiple European territories.

Main responsibilities

- Primary task is to establish and maintain strong relationships with potential customers leading to the successful sale ofsponsorship packages.- Sales prospecting through the generation of a list of target companies.- Developing sales propositions, business and media cases, and sales delivery plans for the UEFA club footballproperties.- Analysis of research for the formulation of effective sales cases.- Compiling high quality sales presentations.- Delivering sales presentations to senior level executives.- Successfully closing sponsorship sales deals.- Supporting the negotiation of long term contractual agreements.

The position will involve international travel.

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate would have 4 to 7 years selling experience within the media and/or sponsorship sales industry, anunderstanding and experience in sports sponsorship sales would be an advantage. In addition you have:

- A proven track record of securing sales and experience in delivering against sales targets with complex media and/orsponsorship solutions.- Strong professional and personal credibility, ability to build strong business relationships.- Self-starter with entrepreneurial thinking, excellent judgment and a desire to win, used to work under pressure.- An excellent written and verbal communicator, an accomplished presenter who can persuade and influence others.Excellent English and preferably with one additional western European language e.g. French.

The position will be based at TEAM's offices in Lucerne and will require relocation to Switzerland.
