    Mose Adam.(b. 1849)

    Moise Adam was born on December 4, 1849, the son of Jean Baptiste Adam and

    Marie Boyer. He married Marie Lveill, the daughter of Louis Lveill and MargueriteGervais at Lebret in 1872, then married Isabelle Poitras the daughter of Gabriel Poitras

    and Isabelle Malaterre at Willow Bunch in 1909. On September 7, 1876, Moise and the

    Metis at Fort Walsh submitted a petition, on behalf of the Metis of the four districts ofAssiniboia to join Treaty 4. He also signed petition for a Metis reserve in Montana, sent

    by Louis Riel to General Nelson A. Miles, August 6, 1880.
