Stansted Airport is well connected to Cambridge by bus, National Express run twenty one direct buses a day from Stansted Airport bus station to Parkside, which is next to Drummer street bus station in Cambridge. It takes approximately 50 minutes and costs about 14 GBP for a return ticket (12 GBP for a single). To book in advance on the secure official website just click the button below: Online Booking

Buses from Stansted (often mis-spelt Stanstead) Airport to Cambridge can be very crowded and there is no guarantee of a place unless you book in advance. Tickets are normally valid for any bus on the same route for 24 hours from your original booked time should you flight be delayed.

NOTE: There is no public transport AT ALL on 25 December 2010 from Stansted Airport. Stansted Airport to Cambridge by TrainAnother good transport option is to take a train to from Stansted Airport to Cambridge station.

This takes appoximately 40 minutes and costs between 15 and 30 GBP for a return ticket, the price is dependent on the time you travel.

Cambridge station is located a 15 minute walk from the city centre and not quite as close as the Drummer Street bus station.
