PetroSA (formerly MOSSGAS), South Africa June 1998 – present Production Shift Supervisor (Onshore)

Area of Responsibility: Synthol / turnaround / shutdowns at Units 10/11 & 14/16.

Involved in all aspects of field operation and currently working in the control room with PLC and DCS systems. This position is responsible for supporting the day to day operations of the plant and provides technical support needed to execute the required production plan.

Duties and Responsibilities: Manage plant operation, safety, housekeeping, plant maintenance, enforces permit to work system,

time keeping, operational objectives. Operation of the units to achieve the required through out of on-specification product safely and within

design constraints. Problem solving to achieve a high standard of safety and plant efficiency. Team training to enable successful pre-commissioning, commissioning and optimal operation of units.



Practical / theoretical training of Process and assistant Process Controllers/Senior Process Controllers. (MIT`s). Manage the development and implementation of a personal learning and growth plan to ensure continued development.
