Dear Sir,
It's a very good idea mooted by Advocate H.C. Arora in a communication dated 11 October 2015 toChandigarh Administration, Punjab & Haryana Governments (copy attached) and RTIFED fullyendorse the idea.
While talking recently to a Regional Manager (Sales) of A top oil company in Chandigarh, it wasrevealed that in Chandigarh alone over one million liter of fuel (petrol, diesel, and other domestic andindustrial fuel together) is consumed (12 lac liter to be precise) every day. Imagine the amount of fuelbeing consumed in whole of India?
People should be encouraged to use the cycle other non-conventional mode of transportation. CycleRickshaw puller can make a great day on that day as they are free to charge whatever they like and carry
