Avertissement : Cet annuaire illustre la richesse et la diversit des acteurs de la Recherche Tlcom ParisTech, il nest toutefois pas exhaustif puisquil se limite aux profils de ceux qui ont souhait y figurer DITO La parution de cette nouvelle mouture du Faculty Book de Tlcom ParisTech concide avec le lancement de la Stratgie de la Recherche de notre tablissement pour la priode 2013-2017. Et, dans cette deuxime dition, jai tenu intgrer une plus grande diversit des acteurs de la recherche, enseignants-chercheurs, chercheurs ou ingnieurs diverses tapes de leur carrire. En effet, les bouleversements majeurs qui vont accompagner larrimage historique de lcole lUniversit Paris-Saclay ds son lancement en 2014, tout comme lenvergure des quatre ambitions de notre stratgie pour rpondre ce challenge complexe, confrent, plus que jamais, un rle central nos forces de recherche et leur richesse dans la russite de cette mutation. Ces quatre ambitions de Tlcom ParisTech en matire de recherche concentrent les besoins inhrents la priode 2013-2017 sur les plans scientifiques, humains, organisationnels, de la valorisation et des moyens: Concrtiser sa posture de Centre de Recherche Pluridisciplinaire de rfrence en Europe sur le Numrique, cal sur des expertises fondamentales; Accrotre son attractivit nationale et internationale lattention des meilleurs doctorants, des jeunes chercheurs de talent et des scientifiques de grande envergure en mobilit ; Doper son rle de Catalyseur du transfert, de la valorisation et de linnovation par le Numrique; Devenir, Saclay, une vritable Agora Scientifique du Numrique pour tous ceux qui sintressent aux avances et limpact du Numrique. En filigrane, la hauteur et la surface de ces quatre ambitions stratgiques font cho au niveau lev (valu A+ en 2010 par lAERES) et reconnu internationalement de nos forces de recherche, la grande varit de leurs activits (recherche, enseignement, management, essaimage) et limmense complmentarit de leurs expertises. Nos forces couvrent, de manire tout fait unique en Europe, tous les champs du Numrique et sont organises en quatre dpartements disciplinaires: Communications-lectronique, Traitement du Signal et des Images (2D, 3D), Informatique & Rseaux et Sciences conomiques et Sociales. Ainsi, notre stratgie scientifique 2013-2017 met en avant cinq AXSEs, AXes Stratgiques dtablissement (transversaux), qui prsentent un gros potentiel fdrateur et rsument notre positionnement scientifique dans le Numrique en cohrence avec des dfis socitaux : Big Data: Dynamique des Donnes et des Connaissances Confiance Numrique: Scurit, Sret et Risques Trs grands Rseaux et Systmes Interactions Rel / Virtuel Approche Interdisciplinaire de lInnovation laube dune priode cl pour la Recherche de Tlcom ParisTech, lgrenage du contenu des pages de ce Faculty Book inspire une grande confiance dans lavenir de nos travaux, tant il rvle des profils dexception de nos acteurs de la Recherche.
