    Attention: Timothy Donnelly, Assistant State Attorney

    RE: Criminal Complaint Against Sylvia Poitier

    Timothy "Chaz" StevensPO Box 1123Deerfield Beach, FL 33443

    Hey Mr. Donnelly;

    Id like you to consider re-opening the case against former Deerfield Beachcommissioner Sylvia Poitier , charging that cretin with 838.022 Officialmisconduct aka It is unlawful for a public servant, with corrupt intent to obtain abenefit for any person.

    In support of this allegation, I offer the following cold hard facts:

    1. In August 2008, the Westside Deerfield Businessman Association wasawarded $30,000 from the citys Community Outreach program.

    2. In March 2009, the Westside Deerfield Businessman Association appliedfor, but was denied, another $30,000 Community Outreach grant.

    3. Then-Commissioner Poitier voted to approve both of those grants.4. Poitier never declared, nor filed any paperwork that disclosed her vested

    financial interest in the WDBA.5. In 2012, Poitier was arrested and removed from office.

    From the May 30th, 2013 Florida Department of Environmental Protectiondeposition of Poitier.

    DEP: Okay. Who are the beneficiaries of these life insurance policies?Poitier: The $1,978, Lionel Ferguson is the beneficiary. Due to the troubleI got in, I had to give up something, a house or something and I didnthave it. So, I gave up the life insurance.

    DEP: So, you owe him money?Poitier: I owed him money on behalf of the Westside DeerfieldBusinessmen, a non-profit organization that I agreed to pay if they didntpay.

    DEP: How is that you came to owe this guy money?

    Poitier: I came to own him that because the Westside Businessmen was anon-profit organization. They owned five units of housing. They providedhousing for the poor. As a Commissioner, I went to him and asked him toloan them the money to save those from tax certificates being sold. Andas a result of that, I got in trouble because the city commission put me off

    the commission for doing that and I ended up owing the money becausethe Westside Businessmen didnt have any money.

    Q. So, you feel like you need to pay back this guy moneyPoitier: I borrowed the money on behalf of the Westside DeerfieldBusinessmen.

    DEP: So, this Westside Deerfield Businessmen borrowed money fromLionel and you helped broker that transaction; is that correct?Poitier: I brokered it.

    DEP: But, you are personally responsible?Poitier: I was personally responsible. Thats the only way they got it.

    Do you see it? Poitier had a vested interest in the WDBA, declared by herselfunder oath, voted to approve money to the WBDA, and failed to mention herconnection.

    Bingo. Thats a felony.

    Can you assign Mr. David Schulson to the gig? Id love to see him kick Poitiersass for a second time.

    A few final tidbits for you to consider.

    1. The felony statute of limitations clock is ticking.2. Poitier, and her fellow criminal-in-arms, Deerfield Beach Mayor Jean

    Robb , are scheming to return that old jailbird to office.3. They are both flaming assholes. Giant flaming assholes.

    I therefore respectfully demand that agents of your office thoroughly investigatesmy allegations and to the extent permitted by State or local law or regulations,any and all penalties, sanctions, or other disciplinary actions for violations of such

    standards be applied forthwith.Sincerely;

    Timothy Chaz Stevens
