Conversazione IngleseIl docente di Conversazione in Lingua Inglese ha contribuito, durante l'anno scolastico, al recupero, al consolidamento e soprattutto al potenziamento delle strutture grammaticali, delle funzioni comunicative, del lessico e della pronuncia attraverso esercizi di ricezione e produzione soprattutto orali, presentations, letture di brani, ecc. spesso tratti dal libro di testo di Lingua Inglese Cult - B2.

TrimestreFrom Cult – B2, Unit 7: “The mystery of the Taj Mahal”: reading comprehension. From Cult – B2, Unit 8: World food (reading comprehension and vocabulary on food and diet). Thanksgiving: traditional recipes. “We are what we eat” - reading comprehension. Christmas songs.

PentamestreChristmas holidays. From Cult – B2, Unit 4: “Hands up!” and “Hooligans and Trolls” - reading comprehensions. Carnival celebrations. From Cult – B2: Unit 9: “Hiroshima and Nagasaki” reading comprehension exercises and vocabulary on war, nations and politics. From Cult – B2: Unit 10: “Earth: You need it more than it needs you” - reading activity and vocabulary on the environment. William Shakespeare's Macbeth; presentation of Shakespeare's early life and of his career as a playwright; the Elizabethan Theatre. Students' presentations (group work) on Macbeth (gli alunni hanno letto ed analizzato a casa una versione adattata dell'opera Macbeth di William Shakespeare, livello B2.1, Casa Editrice Liberty, e hanno presentato in classe oralmente ed a piccoli gruppi gli elementi caratterizzanti ciascuno dei cinque atti dell'opera).

NB Durante le vacanze estive si consiglia la lettura in lingua originale ed in versione adattata di Livello B2 (First Certificate) di almeno due opere inglesi e/o americane del Settecento (romanzi) e soprattutto dell'Ottocento e del Novecento (romanzi, racconti, opere teatrali) a scelta degli alunni in base ai propri gusti personali; si suggeriscono le edizioni delle Case Editrici Black Cat o Liberty,
