Development of the environmental, accessibility and sustainability business plan and setting out key

objectives for the Group with short to long term goals to maintain focus and alignment.

To work with senior managers and report to the board of Directors to provide an improved, co-ordinated

visitor experience and drive growth with business development opportunities both in the UK and

overseas markets.

To deliver/measure all digital marketing activities and strengthen customer relationship management

databases, using google analytics, social media platforms, web management systems, e-newsletters,

and online donation schemes, use of data protection and understanding of legal legislation.

Nominated chair for the reformation of the Western Lake District board, working with local business

partners to develop and business and marketing plans.

Develop new programmed itineraries, events, product development, prepare award and environmental

audits.

Work with local, national and international business partners to maximise market penetration and

increase brand awareness in the domestic and overseas markets.

Set out the marketing budgets and monitor expenditure and effectiveness annually.

Organise and run internal training programmes for social media, online systems, access, environmental

and international customer training.

Work with PR/Media agencies and UK/International media to maximise and execute successful PR

campaigns for the Group to increase brand awareness.
