As founder and CEO of PlagScan I’m writing to express my support for Nicolas’ application for his new job. I got the chance to work closely with him, being his direct supervisor. We met personally on a monthly basis to push his projects. Further, he participated in team and company meetings, where he was a welcomingly active member sharing valuable ideas concerning strategic as well as operative matters. Nicolas demonstrated his professional skills in several areas: As a Business Administration graduate, Nicolas led several sales to closure thanks to his understanding of the inbound sales methodology. He participated in the development of the reseller network and actively supported them in gaining the required product knowledge. His fluency in English and French, as well as his intermediate level in German, enabled him to successfully communicate with decision-makers, paired with his ambition and confidence. o Particularly he recorded video tutorials for our French and English speaking users, where we could profit directly from his language skills. His interest in technology enabled him to understand the ins-and-outs of our software. Very quickly he picked up its functionality and provided valuable input for product development by comprehensibly communicating user requests to developers. Nicolas’ capacity to lead his own projects was shown when he worked on his own project: “Revising and updating PlagScan’s AdWords campaign”. He more than tripled the Click-through-Rate while keeping the Cost-Per-Click at a minimum. Nicolas likes to be accountable for what he undertakes. Further, he understood well that his work becomes particularly valuable, if he shares his methodology with others. When leaving our team, he left an excellent documentation and project status, where others can pile on. His creativity and learning capabilities were demonstrated by the creation of new landing pages. By studying best practices and innovating himself, he developed pages that overall increased the conversion rate by more than 140%. Finally, Nicolas was a strong cultural fit for our company.
