Règlement – Saison 2018

FISHING IN RIVER:

1) OPENING DATE IN 2018

Trout and minnows: from Saturday, March 17th to September 30th included.

Other fish: from Saturday, June 2nd to September 30th included.

2) CLOSURES FOR STOCKING WITH FISH OR COMPETITION:

The fishing is totally and strictly forbidden because of stocking or competition on the total domain of the company

− Friday 20 April− Friday 18 May− Friday 22 June− Friday 20 July− Friday 31 August− Saturday 08 september (competition)

The fishing is again authorized the next day (on Saturday)

3) MEMBERSHIPS CARDS (obligation to have it before starting fishing):

- Annual card in the water : 60 €- Junior* annual card from the bank child been born in 2004 and later : 20 €- And from the second child of the same household : 10 €- Card two consecutive days : 20€- Daily card (except opening Saturdays and stocking) : 12,5€

*JUNIOR CARD = CARD FOR PONDS AND RIVER TOGETHER FOR 20€ A YEAR.

THE LICENCE OF THE WALLOON REGION IS MANDATORY (on sale in post offices and on www.maisondelapeche.be).

NOTICE: - The membership card of the company is compulsory whatever the age is.- As annual member on the river, you benefit from a 30-euro reduction on the annual membership card «ponds».

4) PARTNERSHIP:

COMPANY OF THE FISHERMEN GATHERED BY BASSE-BODEUX-COO-TROIS-PONTS:

The beat of the End of the World are common to our two companies (reciprocity). To be in posses-sion of a membership card of one of the two asbl gives the right to you to go fishing there.

5) THE RIVERS INTERNAL RULES OF PROCEDURE:

Restricted size of the fish:

Trout: 30 cmPike, Chub, barbel, loach, perch: no kill! Eel goes fishing forbidden. In case of catching them, the fish must be immediately handed to the water carefully.

Grayling: no kill and fishing authorized only on the fly!

Barbs:Obligation to crush all your barbs and it is true for all the fishing techniques (ministerial decree on the reform of the fishing in RW category «running waters»)

Fishing with worm and the pestering : Forbidden on all the beats.

Fishing with natural baits (worm, moth…) and PowerBait (scent):

Authorized on Warche and Amblève except zones no-kill and only recommended on simple fishhook n°5 and 4.

Forbidden on the Red Water and the Recht to protect trout fry there.

Fishing with minnow : Bottles forbidden at the risk of exclusion from the company. The number of catch is limited to 20 a day and by fisherman.

Number of catch and pad of control : The number of salmonid which the fisherman can keep is fixed to 5 a day and 40 by fishing season.A pad of control is annexed to every membership card. Upon your arrival at the water’s edge, you have to write the date of the day before starting fishing. Obligation of pointer every trout kept imme-diately on the card of capture. After the 5th pointed fish, it is necessary to stop fishing!

Other obligation :

- In case of the hook being too deep in the fish throat, fish which the size is lower than the statutory size must be put back to the water without being cleared. Obligation to cut the bottom line at the lips of the fish!In other cases only the use of a fine gripper is authorized. Only diameter under 8mm

authorized.

- Respect the dates of total and partial closures. Any member noticed in attitude of going fishing one Friday of stocking or a day of competition will have an automatic removing of his annual card.

- Do not cross fields, follow fences, particularly when hays begin to grow and watch to close barriers behind you!

- Respect the property of others and the specific bans inherent to certain zones of fishing; do not penetrate into fields and paths of access with your vehicle.

- Channel Electrabel: - Fishing forbidden during its draining!- Electrabel and the Company disclaims all liability in the event of an accident of

somebody going fishing behind the barrier.

5’) THE INTERNAL RULES OF PROCEDURE OF RIVERS NO-KILL FLY-FISHING AND LURES :

- No-kill mandatory.- Fly fishing and lures authorized on all the beats with a maximum of three simple fishhooks.- All authorized fish: trout, grayling....- Natural baits and PowerBait (scent) forbidden.- Fishhooks without barb or crushed barbs.- Forbidden triple and double fishhooks.

6) CONTROL AND PENALTIES:

The control is organized by the water bailiffs and the committee members on presentation of their card of control.

Any membership card is personal and authorizes only two rods maximum at the water’s edge. The membership card is mandatory before starting fishing!

Every fisherman must be able to watch his two lines in the water.

Every fisherman in attitude of fishing on the domain of the company has to show the membership card of the company, the licence of the Walloon Region and his ID card in any requisition. He must also authorize any clothing visit.

Every fisherman noticed in attitude of fishing on our beats, without the fishing licence of the company, has to pay immediately the price of the two consecutive days card increased by a 20€ supplement.

Any breach of the regulation will be analyzed by the committee to determine the penalty appropriate which can go to the exclusion during the general assembly.

The consultation of the statutes of the asbl is legally allowed on a request at the committee.

7) STOCKING FISH PLANNED FOR THE SEASON 2018:

170 kg for the opening season in March, 180kg in April, 180kg in May, 180kg in June, 140kg in July and 150kg in August.

For a total of 1000kg of brown trout sized and 7500 trout fry during the season.

8) DOMAINS OF FISHING : (right and left banks are to be considered downstream)

REMARK: both no-kill zones on beats are not accessible to the fishermen practicing the fishing in the natural baits and the PowerBait (scent) (except handled minnow).

A) The Amblève: 15,535km of banks.

Petite Amblève to Pont-Ligneuville = access n° A: 1000 m.

. Beat: 500m on both bank downstream from the bridge to the soccer field.

. GPS: N50.36833°x E6.03552 °

. Petite Amblève - Fourir-goffe Thérèse = access n° B: 50 m = no-kill zone thus natural bait and PowerBait (scent) forbidden.

. Beat: 50 m left bank downstream from the bridge.

. GPS: N50.37982 ° x E6.00920 °

Petite Amblève - Fourir-goffe Thérèse = access n° B: 50 m = no-kill zone thus natural bait and PowerBait (scent) forbidden.

. Beat: 50 m left bank downstream from the bridge.

Rock of Warche and Lodomez = access n°4: 4715 m = no-kill zone thus natural bait and PowerBait (scent) forbidden.

. The no kill zone extends since the Rock of Warche up to the last field in left bank downstream to Lodomez (stop at the beginning of the woods). The limit in right bank is the same.

. Beat: 2300m left bank 2415m right bank. GPS: N50.38699 ° x E5.99136 °

. Attention, the access to the river by the village of Lodomez and the vehicle parking on dirt tracks between fields overhanging Amblève are strictly forbidden at the risk of immediate retreat of the membership card. Our authorization of fishing depends on the respect for these conditions and for the respect of the farmers who work.

Footbridge of Challes = access n°5: 1470 m.

. Beat: 800 m right bank on both sides of the footbridge 670 m left bank on both sides of the footbridge. GPS: N50.39327 ° x E5.95458 °. To park in access 5, drive at a walking speed and put your regulation of the company on

the dashboard of your car to be identified as fisherman by police services. The parking lot for the fishermen is authorized at the level of the footbridge in spite of the road «except local resident» on this condition to avoid any trial

The Beach = access n°6: 1800 m.

Beat: 900 m right bank on both sides of the confluence with the Red Water 900 m left bank on both sides of the confluence with the Red Water.GPS : N50.39520 ° x E5.94667 °Attention fishing forbidden 50 m downstream to the dam and to the fishway.

Channel (canal) Electrabel = access n°7: 950 m.

Beat: 430 m right bank and 520 m left bank.GPS: N50.39401 ° x E5.93565 °

Bridge of Bressaix = access n°8: 1100 m.

Beat: 500 m right bank and 600 m left bank on both sides of the bridge.

Place of December 18th and water-treatment plant = access n°9: 750 m.

Beat: 300 m right bank downstream to the paved bridge and 450 m left bank on both sides of the bridge.GPS: N50.39110 ° x E5.93188 °

End of the World: 3700 m.

Beat in common with the company of “Pêcheurs réunis de Trois-Ponts”.

Beat: 2000 m right bank since the first field behind ponds.1700 m left bank after the wood which follows the water-treatment plant (access by the water).Either both banks up to the brook of Bouyen.Access from the ponds = access n°10a: GPS: N50.38836 ° x E5.92807 °Access from the main road = access n°10b: GPS: N50.38531 ° x E5.91759 °

B) The Red Water: 5,880 km of banks = forbidden natural bait and Power-Bait (scent) (except handled minnow)

Upstream bridge of Sheeps to Cheneux (=access n°1): 2325 m.

Beat: 2325m left bank since the brook of Bierlonhé which throws itself into the red water before Blanchimont to 100m before the camping.GPS: N50.40117 ° x E5.95346 °

Between the bridge of Sheeps and the bridge of Cheneux (=access n°2): 1865 m.

Beat: 935 m right bank and 930 m left bank.GPS: N50.40410 ° x E5.95259 °

. Downstream the bridge of Cheneux-confluence with the Amblève (access n°3): 1690 m.

.Beat: 1010 m right bank up to the confluence with the Amblève.680 m left bank from the former (old) bridge of the railroad up to the camping of Challes. Attention passing and fishing in the camping of Challes are forbidden.

C) The Warche in Malmedy: 11,170 km of banks.

Bévercé-career = access 1: 1000 m.

Beat: 820 m right bank at the level of the career and 180m left bank downstream to the career (fishing in the water only).GPS: N50.44464 ° x E6.05173 °

Bévercé-swimming pool = access 2: 200 m

Beat: 200 m right bank from the bridgeGPS: N50.43536 ° x E6.02902 °

Centre city = access n°3: 5270 m. (1600m upstream of the Colruyt bridge = new 2016)

Beat: 2585 m left bank and 2685m right bank since Intermills-Moviemills up to the bridge of the ravel (bridge SNCB).GPS: N50.42582 ° x E6.02157 °

Attention: on the new beat 2016 only fishing in the water is authorized on both banks

since the cinema Moviemills up to the bridge of Corlruyt. It is formally forbidden to cross by the construction site Intermills and the cinema on foot or to park its vehicle there. Attention to the variations of water level with the quite close power plant. Attention to work in progress on the river! On the card of beats, this zone is spotted in red dotted line and on the ground the plates of the company are completed by the mention «in the water».

Access and parking lot: the easiest is to park near the Bridge of “Outrelepont” and to come down in the water at the level of the bridge (staircase).

Aval Bridge of Warche = access n°4a – zoning = access n°4b: 4700 m.

Beat: 2200 m left bank since the Bridge of Warche in the entrance of Malmedy until downstream of the Rock of Falize. 2500m right bank idem.

GPS: access 4a = N50.41739 ° x E5.99895 ° and access 4b = N50.41162 ° x E5.99612 °

Attention: from the Bridge of Warche on a length of 800m only fishing in the water is authorized on both banks. It is formally forbidden to pass by companies on foot and fishing from the bank. On the map of beats, this zone is located in red dotted line and on the ground the plates of the company are completed by the mention «in the water».

D) Rechterbach to Pont-Ligneuville: 0,5km of banks = forbidden natural bait and PowerBait (scent) (except handled minnow).

Beat: 500 m right bank towards the downstream from ponds situated in left bank. (100m below the bridge of the highway).Access and parking lot: see little Amblève at Pont-Ligneuville = access n° A on the map.

For more details refer on maps following pages or on our web site. On the ground, fishing zones are always bounded by signs of the company, blue plates carrying in white letters ‘la truite’.

TOTAL OF BEATS: 33,085 KM.

FISHING IN PONDSsurfaces big pond=1ha and small pond=0,6ha.

1) OPENING DATE IN 2018

From Friday 1st of June 2018 to Tuesday 31st of January 2019In case of strong heat, of period of low-water mark or frost, the company reserves the right to close fishing the time required for a return to normal. Announcements will be made by Facebook and via sign in ponds

2) CLOSURES FOR STOCKING WITH FISH, COURSE OR COMPETITION:

- Sunday 17th of June: closing of the big pond : Club Feeder Verviers- Monday 23rd of July: junior course- Sunday 12th August: individual competition still fishing and english- From Friday 2nd of November to Sunday 11th of November: stocking with pike and white

fish, carnivorous internship and competition

3) MEMBERSHIPS CARDS: The licence of the Walloon Region is not mandatory for fishing in ponds. The membership card of the company is mandatory before starting fishing.

- Annual card : 50 €- Annual card for a river member : 20 €- Annual card for a river member no-kill : 20 €- Annual card JUNIOR* child born in 2004 and after: 20 € (10 euros from the second

child of the same household)- Card «two consecutive days»: 15 euros except opening day, competition days and

stocking days.- Daily card: 10 euros except opening day, competition days and stocking days.

Watch out, with a daily or «two consecutive days» card, fishing for pike and perch is no-kill total! No resumption of fish!

Dispensations:

- During the competitions and special days organized by the Company, the membership card is not compulsory, a contribution to costs will be asked.

- Every child less than 8-year-old accompanied by a member adult of the Company can go fishing without membership card with a rod with a simple fishhook without barb or crushed barb (only authorized to fish trout and white fish forbidden pike and perch).

*JUNIOR CARD = COMBINED CARD PONDS AND RIVER FOR 20€ A YEAR.

4) TYPES OF AUTHORIZED FISHING AND CAPTURE:

Reminder: whatever is the technique, all your barbs must be crushed at the risk of the immediate retreat of your membership card!Reminder: a rod for pike by fisherman! (either natural fish, lure or fly)

Fishing for white fish (roaches, tenches, breams, carps, sturgeons):- No kill any species and immediate release of the fish in the water.- BOAT FOR FEEDING AND TO PUT LINE ARE FORBIDDEN- Forbidden hamper.- Removal of a lower diameter that 8mm is authorized.- 2 rods max by fisherman. The spacing authorized between rods is 3m max. Lines must be

positioned in parallel, no cross are authorized by respect for your neighbors.- Feeding limited to 2kg a day and by fisherman.- Fishhooks without barbs compulsory.- Exception: it is authorized to keep, in a box “goujonnière”, 5 roaches by fisherman a day

for fishing dead or alive bait.

Fishing for trout and salmon:- Quota of 4 trout a day and by fisherman. Every fish kept must be pointed with the date of

the day at the card of taking. At the 4th fish kept, it is necessary to stop fishing! - Hamper authorized.- Removal of a lower diameter that 8mm is authorized.- 2 rods max by fisherman. The spacing authorized between rods is 3m max.- Fishhooks without barbs compulsory, including for triple hook of the lures.- Fishing with natural bait and PowerBait (scent): this technique doesn’t always allowed to

put back the fish to the water in good conditions; after 3 catch kept, the 4th fished trout will also have to be kept if she has took the bait beyond gills. Thus this 4th kept make the end of your day of fishing any fish and any techniques! It’s the same for the white fish fisherman who would like to keep trout!

Fishing for pike and perch: - Quota of kept: it is authorized to keep a pike of a size between 70cm and 80cm or 2 perch

of min. 30cm a year and by fisherman until December 31st. In January, only no kill is au-thorized! He is compulsory to note in the back of the membership card the size of the fish kept next to the date of the day and to make validated your kept by one of the control or a member of the committee of the company. Once the fish kept your day of fishing is done!

Remark: the holders of a daily card or two consecutive days can’t keep pike or perch!!!- forbidden hamper.- 1 rod max by fisherman.- Fishhooks without barbs compulsory including for triple hook of the lures (Max two triples).- Fishing with natural fish: authorized only with one simple hook without barb (to keep

the fish on the hook, a spring or a bead is enough). You have to hook the fish within 10 seconds after the hit! Thus the fisherman must be next to his rod. In case of take beyond gills, it’s compulsory to cut the line or the cable at the level of the lips of the fish: it’s pro-hibited to try to take your hook back! Only 5 roaches or 10 crucian carps are authorized in your box “goujonnière”.

- It’s forbidden to fish with dead fish static!- Pliers to lift pikes outside the water are forbidden. Use the net.

4’) NO KILL FOR FLY FISHING AND LURES: AUTHORIZED TYPES OF FISHING:

By dispensation, all the types of fishing above white fish, trout, pike… are allowed by respecting the principle of the total no-kill.

5) CONTROLS AND PENALTIES:- The controls are made by the guards, the committee members of the Company and by the

agent of the city of Stavelot.- During the control, the fisherman has to present his ID card and his membership card. A

checking of the fishing basket can be made.- Every person in action of fishing without a membership card has to pay immediately the

price of the daily membership card increased by a 15€ fine.- Fishing is authorized for half an hour before the sunrise till half an hour after the sunset.- Are forbidden: the use of the blunder, pliers to lift pikes outside the water, the boats for

feeding and the feeding with hemp or with blood.- Remark: ponds are a conservation area, thus take great care of the place, flora and fauna

which surround you. Our authorization of fishing depends on your good behavior! Zero tolerance will be applied for tipped or thread abandoned at the water’s edge; think of the birds please!

Any noticed breach is liable to the immediate retreat of your fishing card, to a suspension of the membership and to a definitive exclusion of the Company.

6) MUNICIPAL BANS ANY TIME:Any breach of the municipal regulation is liable to a fine and pulled automatically the immediate retreat of the membership card.

- Night fishing - Fishing outside the beats which mean in the zones of reeds or to crush them for fishing

and in the pond of sources- Make a fire - Use a boat - Leave your waste or put them down in the wooden tubs at the level of brooks.- Go fishing under the ice and consequently as soon as the pond is frozen in whole or in

part.- Go swimming - To intervene on the water level of the monk of water outlet

It is also asked to respect the walkers and the local residents. Ponds are a public site where each must be able to find his approval.Parking lot: it is asked not to park along the road around ponds (parking forbidden); but to use the parking lot in the entrance of the ponds. The fishermen have no priority on vehicles around ponds!

bow trout (“Pêche en Fête” and trout competition for children). - November 2nd: 80kg big pikes - 350kg roach - 70 kg carp.- November 9th: 120kg pike - 25kg perch - 125kg big trout for the carnivorous competition.

Or over the year: 200kg pike, 375kg rainbow trout, 500kg roach, 140kg crucian carp and carp, 25kg bream and 25kg perch.
