You are the garden. Without you,
there is no produce. You are alwayswelcome to come to the various
events, in addition to picking up
your weekly produce, including
BBQs, workshops, and bonfires, to
name a few, or simply drop by to
say hi. We always welcome help
with harvesting and weeding, as we
use no chemical pesticides or
herbicides. Students are always
welcome and will have special days
to come out and learn hands on
about everything we do. This can
also include the newly added
chickens and any future additionsalong the way. Come join us where
YOU are part of the growing St.
Isidores community!
What is Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)?
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a partnership between a farm anda community of responsible consumers. It puts youthe consumerin directrelationship with the production of your food. There are no unknownmiddlemen. By paying for your produce upfront in the winter and springtime, you become a shareholder of the farms yearly harvest. Each week duringthe growing season, you receive a portion of your share. Wethe farmersalso benefit by receiving payments at the beginning of the season, when we
need them most, to buy seeds and supplies to produce the food. This reducesthe interest costs of loans to begin the season. The CSA partnership is goodfor you, good for the farm, and good for the earth.
